Your Conn New Wonder may or may not fit into the case. I have a Kanstul double case that holds the horns vertically, in trapezoidal slots. My '23 New Wonder cornet fits, but I have to position it carefully. My case has two large blocks of fairly soft foam on the inside of the lid that press the horns down into the slots. The Conn is taller than a standard trumpet, so unless I'm careful the lid foam presses down on parts of the horn I'd rather not have under stress (mainly the end of the leadpipe).
