The music and the people were and are spectacular!
I love Brazil. Except for the shocking gap between the rich and poor. It really started to get to me towards the end of our visit. Especially when Jon and I asked for a good 'LOCAL' place to eat at and the hotel sent us to a tacky "OVERPRICED" tourist joint. grrr Eventually we found what we wanted.
