Last time we talked about this I ordered the DVD.

I would imagine that compliments DID NOT come out of L. Bernstein unless he really meant them... not to embarrass Wilmer... but I believe he called him a "genius" trumpet player.

My wife and I love that DVD. Not only is the playing fantastic but you really get a feel for the personalities and emotions...

NSO friends would tell me stories about him stopping the entire orchestra to tell some inbedded player he was sharp or flat on that chord. Not only an amazing ear but a demand for perfection!

Would love to hear stories Wilmer... no names needed.

Lets hope this thread sells another 100 DVD's!
