In cold weather try removing all the valve oil. Wipe the horn clean and all the valve cylinders and the pistons. The cold weather should increase the clearance between the monel piston and brass cylinder. No need for valve oil that increases in viscosity in the cold.

Short of that try the synthetics. Other people can recommend synthetics.
