Did you happen t ask Reeves on his opinion??? Curious. A change to say a 43D or 43C underpart might have been all you needed without changing your playing interface at all. Worth a call at least....
Heck they even mention that it is normal to play a slightly deeper cup than you normally might with it. So being that shallow may have a bit of a drawback on overall sound quality.
