Sure! And you can take any part of a study, and turn it into an exercise other than it's first intention.I took all the Clarke studies and made them just K tongue, then single, double, triple, doodle(jazz style) etc.... play around with the repertoire have fun and be musical. Here's an outstanding book written by an outstanding teacher!
