All of them.

But you can start with the music you like to listen to right now. Listen to melodies and solos in general, regardless who's playing them. If you like one player's particular style, get more recordings of that artist and keep listening.

You can then start branching out with other artists of similar styles, and then other artists with differing styles as you listen and gain a greater understanding of what's going on with the playing.

These artists don't necessarily have to be trumpet players, if you happen to really like what the music is doing.

My first "jazz" CD was Chuck Mangione. It wasn't until shortly thereafter that I understood what was going on musically and got into different trumpet players, then sax/piano/guitar players, then started improvising, etc.
