Re: Tony's choice in mutes.

Happy Holidays!

I end up bringing straight, cup, harmon w/ stem, plunger, solotone, and bucket to all gigs. It's a pain, but it seems that whatever I'm missing is what is written for, so I take no chances.

What is currently in my case: straight (Leblanc - Alessi/Vacc.), cup (H/B - red & white), harmon (Joral), plunger (a large, thin, light blue one given to me by trombonist John Wheeler), solotone (H/B), and bucket (E-Z- buck).

Once in a while I'll throw in a "soft" straight mute (Trumcor "lyric") just in case.

Thanks -
Tony
