My horn is a wonderful instrument I picked up in a pawn shop. I found this information regarding its history regarding my Tempora Reynolds Trumpet by Eishaddi Edwards of Contempora Corner:
"Actually, 38840 is probably from around 1950 or so. 30000 was ~1946 or '47 and there was an estimated 2000-2500 increment/year at the time. 1960s would be ~60000 or higher. The "MB" stands for medium bore, which was .458"
