Thanks for the props. We recorded with no soundcheck and just a couple overhead mics so I can't comment on the sound on air but Mechanics' Hall is probably my favorite venue to play... the trumpet sounds so good in the hall. I had a few friends there who said the live sound was amazing. If you ever get to play at that hall do it! I bet Tony's played there before. It's awesome.
Garrett and I had a great time going crazy on some latin stuff. not exactly
my bag but a few high notes cures everything. Garrett played most of the 1st parts but I did all the "squaking"... or screaming. ;)
He's such a great player and tremendous hang. What a talent!
FWIW I was playing my 993 with STC2 B4L. That's a great combo IMO.
I just got back from Osmun with a modified 80 series Warburton that makes playing the Wedge pieces on my 993 heavenly.
