Edit: Also, I just wanted to mention that I can use growls and flutter tounging fairly well.
Also, I was wondering: I can circular breathe all right, but it sounds a little raspy. Would it be better to do it in my audition, or leave it out?

Impress your instructor, but not invest much time. Do you think your instructor is deaf?
This normally gets me off on a rant about paying your dues, but I am not even going to start.
If you do not want to INSULT your instructor, forget all of the things that YOU think are flashy, pick a simple piece and knock him down with your musicality. You will be doing yourself a favor (showing good taste and common sense) and save the comment "you could have invested more time here and here and here"..........

Damned Nintendo generation - download a cheat and become an ace trumpet player. Am I glad that this does not work!
