I looking for advice on how to make my Bach 180ML 37 more free blowing. I bought the horn new in 93 and it worked great since I was young and in school and everyone that has played it compliments the intonation and overall sound. When I started gaining my upper register and experience I always felt like the horn had too much resistance. I do have a hefty set of lungs and I am afraid I might need a large bore trumpet, but really don't want to give up my strad. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to make it feel more "open". It has the standard 25 leadpipe and been thinking about changing that and/or the Tuning Slide. Any help would be appreciated!
