Just a reminder:

The CDs that you can buy and print parts from only include those works which are in the public domain. You aren't going to (at least legally) find a CD that has the parts for such things as Bartok Concerto for Orchestra, Miraculous Mandarin, Pictures at an Exhibition, Ravel Piano Concerto, Pine of Rome, etc. Works that are rental only can't legally be scanned and sold. Unfortunately, most audition lists have several of those works on them. Fortunately, most orchestras generally send copies of the rental only music, which they say must be returned at the audition (although few rarely bother anyways).

The Orchester Probespiel volume is used frequently in Europe - it also contains many of the most frequently asked excerpts.

The best way to get copies of actual parts is to speak with someone playing in a major orchestra and see what they will let you copy, for educational purposes.
