I actually have a Berkley Cornet, and I'd say the only problem I have with it are the valve springs, which hardley had any resistance to them. I Pulled off the retainers (which was damn hard on these horns, had to use locking pliers because the edges were so sharp) and stretched the springs a little for a little more resistance. They work fine now, definitely not amazing, but there ok.

Overall, I'd give the horn a 7 out of 10 for an intermediate horn.
