Me too! The things we look for in a trumpet are sound, intonation, response and mechanical reliability; sound and response are very subjective. The right trumpet for you will sound and feel the way you like and if it plays in tune as well, then it is a gem!

The right trumpet needn't be expensive or even "professional." In my opinion, Getzen offers the finest value in American made trumpets, and are worth looking into.

The best advice is to try as many instruments as you can, and keep an open mind when trying them out.

Have fun!
