BADBOY-DON will become famous soon enough
Re: Jeff Tyzik...wow!

Thanks Wilmer and Stch'
Agreed... that Jeff would perhaps sound just like JEFF on about any quality cornet. However I was quite blown away to hear how beautiful and seemingly easy how he could soar with such clarity, purity of sound and projection. Over the years in hearing cornet solos.
It has always been noticable how most cornets seem too take on a strange whineee'wailing voice when played at such volume. Jeff's voicing on that cornet...remained...dense, full with such a beautiful tonality that I haven't heard in a very long time.
I have often wondered why so many players choose Flug's over cornets? Especially since most cornets are so friendly and EZ to work with...especially with mutes...and their small phyical size allows one to pack it along with you....
I never used to leave home without that old cornet of mine...whether a trip to the store...or to the beach. Some of the most memorial moments have been with that old long lost Besson on mine. Impromt jams and personal moments walking down a secluded beach...or park. That little short model Bessy, although narley-n-nasty and downright ugly with all its dings..dents and suspect intonation...NOTHING that I have ever owned...gave me such great musical moments in time. That old friendly horn, although long gone...in imbedded in my demented ol' memory banks forever.
Hey...sorry for the rant about an old piece of brass. Guess that Absence always make my heart grow fonder, huh? ;(---- :)
