Is there any way that I can walk into a music instrument dealer and say, "Hey, I'd like a trumpet that can play classical but more edged toward jazz. I want a high quality horn and I'd like to see my customization options like valve speed and visual things. I prefer a Bach Strad, but I know they might not be as good with jazz performers."? Could I ask him that and him find me a good horn for the job? Is it possible to personally customize a Bach Strad? I need to find out all I can about these trumpets before I actually fork out the cash to buy one.
