I just thought I'd take a moment to praise the new Getzen/Blackburn piccolo trumpet. I played one for the first time today at the Midwest Band Clinic in Chicago and it is much improved (as far as intonation) compared to the non Blackburn model. Although playing in a hall with hundreds of others trying out horns is not ideal, I was able to identify the superior intonation as compared to previous 940's I've played. Good job Getzen.......this one is on my short list.
