| Need Help Salvage or Scrap?? About 10 years ago I purchased a old B&S trumpet in a pawn shop. It is a 148347 serial number which is on the leadpipe by the mouthpiece receiver which I find kinda unusual. I know the horn is very very old. There are no markings on the valve casings other than a D with a 92 stamped under it. The bell has the B&S wreath with B&S in the center of the wreath and markneukirchen-klingenthal stamped under the B&S. The horn is in decent shape and I am wondering if it is worth restoring or not. I wouldn't want to restore a student model or anything but the only info on the net I can find is that B&S and Hoyer were the top of the line models followed by Weltklang and Wolfram? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
