Hi ElShaddai,
sorry for the delay and hope its not too late. That's a fine site you have.
Here are the details for my Reynolds cornet, recently acquired on ebay and a joy! It's raw brass as is, and the seller told me that the valve caps (lower ones) are not original so if anyone knows of any, I'd be glad to hear from them.
[1]Bell size - 4.75"
[2] Bore size - medium to medium large I guess, but quite a bit less than my Yamaha YTR 6345 (.643" ?? 11.73 mm) and a tad less than my Studio 59xxx
[3] What materials (brass, nickel silver, sterling silver) are used and where?
All brass except:
first section of lead pipe (but not mpc receiver) as far as level with valve block, not next section or tuning slide.
Nickel again from down stream, lhs of tuning slide to bend up to 3rd valve. This bend is acually brass on valve side and nickel on the other outer side with a nicely shaped nickel stay running forwards.
Water keys and screw through them are plated, but not the brackets.
Upper valve block, stems, caps and mother of pearl buttons. Of these only valve block appears to be nickel, the others being plated.
Pinky hook
There is no 3rd valve hook at present but there is a brass bracket and knob
[4] Engraving style - The vertical engraving style
[5]
[6] Serial number - 12414
