| Transpostion Question
I have not had to transpose in a long time and I am just drawing a blank as I used to be able to do this in my sleep. I am playing two pieces, the first is Slavischer Marsch which is from Tromba in B and the other piece is a Beethoven part for Trumpet in Es. For the Tromba in B, isn't that just Bb trumpet? For the Trumpet in Es, is that for trumpet in E which means I would need to read the notes up a Major third? Thank you again for the help and I really need to brush up on this again..lol. |
