after doing some research i've found a number of recommendations for good sub $1,000 cornets for beginners:

olds ambassador
bach cr300
king super 20
getzen eterna 782
yamaha ycr 2330

would anyone like to comment on these or suggest other good possibilities? the two that i've read the most positive comments on are the olds ambassador and the getzens, but can anyone tell me more about which models and years i should be looking for? would it be worth it to spend the money on a new getzen eterna 782?
