Jazz9 | Ok, here's a bit more mundane horn that you could probably find to try. It's not a "California," but it's an old standard. Bach 72*. Good horn for many applications. The silver tuning slide is specially plated to raise the pitch of the fourth space E while lowering the high G and improving the slots above high C. Just kidding...my w/k spring broke and I found the slide from my old horn before my I found my spare springs. It fits better, actually.
