cbdmd has a spectacular aura about
Couesnon Lafayette bore size help

My first Bb trumpet was a Couesnon Lafayette trumpet (made in France) that my Dad grew up with. I still have it and play it in certain settings. To me, it seems to have a smaller bore when I compare it to a ML trumpet and works really well for really technical pieces.
I would love to know what the bore size is. I can't find anything anywhere about bore sizes on these trumpets. It has a VERY small D stamped on the 2nd valve casing, "K" stamped on one side of the reciever and "D20" stamped on the other side. Actually the" D20" my be "P20." If that's the case, someone had mentioned that the "P" may mean petite for small bore. Then what would the "D" stamped on the 2nd valve casing mean? What would the numerical value of the bore be?
Thanks for your help....play well....chad
