Wow! from Germany to Kansas, I can't help but picture the scene from the movie "The Three Amigos" where the German enters the old west bar and the locals start to tease him about his shiny little pistols. He of course turns out to be excellent at the quick draw and shoots several of them. It's really a funny movie!

Anyway welcome. Kansas has tons of really nice folks and really excellent steak. If you like beef, you're in the right place.

Also make sure you learn where to go in case of tornadoes and learn about the warning sirens. Maybe hook up with some storm chasers and photograph some lightning and tornadoes.
