Re: Theory Book

You just reminded me of a book that helps me out over and over, The Jazz Piano book by Mark Levine. Since I am a wanna be pianist it serves two purposes, one to develop some technique and one to get a deeper understanding of harmony and yes, theory...they are pretty well intertwined I think.?? I think he put out a theory book as well. Very clear and inspiring stuff written by a true 'player'.
