Hello, my name is Daeyong Ra.

I am new to trumpetmaster.com

I am from Vancouver BC, Canada.

I am a freelance musician performing in various orchestras and ensembles and as a soloist in the lower mainland and all of British Columbia.

I received my Bachelors Degree of music at UBC in 1994 and received a Master's Degree in trumpet performance at McGill University in Montreal in 1997.

My former trumpet instructors included Larry Knopp, Russell DeVuyst, Doug Sturdevant, Paul Merkelo and Martin Berinbaum.

I currently play on Bach-Stradivarius 180ML Bb trumpet, Yamaha 9445CHS Chicago model C trumpet, Schilke P7-4 piccolo trumpet & Eb/D trumpet model E3L, Getzen Eterna Cornet, Bach-Stradivarius Bb Cornet model 184 and Scherzer rotary piccolo trumpet for solos.
