I'd wait a little while until you know the horn's put together well enough to be immersed in solvent! THe repair shop I used to work at wouldn't clean those kind of horns after a french horn fell apart during the chem clean.

That said...how's the sound and intonation? Does it have any of the qualities that make me covet the real Schertzer... If so, I might give it a shot.
