And to be fair to me and Trent we both have perfectly good piccolo trumpets that we use normally.
I think we both just like tinkering.
At least I have an excuse, I am a radiop ham and I think tinkering with things is genetic.

The rotary is a bit mouthpiece sensitive.
I find it gets flat at the top end if you use to deep a mouthpiece (no surprise).
I also find that the Monette piccolo mouthpiece works better, but I have to bind it with tape to fit it in a cornet to trumpet adaptor because mine is the smaller size.
