I have played three VintageOnes. All of them reasonably in tune with a dedicated flugel mouthpiece (cornet mp with adapter or cut down trumpet mp did not work!). GORGEOUS SOUND, nice valves, well built. Darker than the Yamaha 6xx and lighter in sound than the Getzen 4 -Valve that I own. Blend in my brass quintet is excellent (the Yamaha and the Getzen too by the way). I have played a couple of Kanstuls, but that was quite a while ago so I don't remember any details! If there were something bad I would have remembered so I am sure they were OK.
Play before you pay and make sure that you get a vee cup flugel mouthpiece with a rim that is comfortable!
