First of all welcome! For high notes, patience , chops need to be developed. When I was your age I joined a DCI drum and bugle corps. Usually the brass staff at DCI level is top notch and you build so much endurance and confidence performing at a high level throughout the entire summer.You'll come back in the fall with monster chops and increased endurance and range.If there are skeptics out there check out The Blue Devils Hornline, then you'll understand!Of course a good teacher is important to guide you along.Best of luck!
