I started playing trumpet in 5th grade, which would be about 13 years ago? My first trumpet was a Holton. I'd like to win because I don't own a B-flat trumpet and I've taken some flak for playing C trumpet on commercial gigs. I've heard a lot of great things about the NYTC, so I thought I'd give it a shot!
