| Re: Hardenberg/Turnage Video The Maxwell Davies Sonata (not the concerto) is written for trumpet and piano (originally written for Elgar Howarth and John Ogden I believe).
Its well worth a go.
Its scored for trumpet in D though and I would imagine the transposition would be largely impossible given the extent of the piano cues in the solo trumpet part.
