I am not familiar with this B&F trumpet but I did have an oportunity to play another octagonal bell trumpet. It was made by Vickers and was called the " Octagon" model. Not very creative of the marketing department but the horn played well but did have a muffled sound. I thought the rigidity of the angles where they were bent dampened the sound some. I saw a Vickers Octagon sell on eBay last year for about $450.00 if I remember.
