Thanks Wilmer, I was curious...I am going to be performing "Bright Seraphim" with a small orchestra in a month or so and I have been checking out different renditions for ornaments and style.... Wynton's early version here with Edita Gruberova is way different than the version that he recorded with Kathleen Battle. I like both, but I have to be honest I like the "simplicity" of the early recording. I will be borrowing from both. All the best, Neil |
