| Re: Possible Upcoming Threads My best and quickest improvements in my playing has always been in playing. Not so much alone, but in group setting. Especially setting next to, or the best the group has to offer. I don't whether it's (close up) listening of the performer, or side by side section/ensemble passages, that (if you got your ears on) teaches you playing these passages together....as one. Though these experiences learn phrasing, breathing....everything about it.
