Re: Need to Identify

From junkdude.com, a description of a York Superba:

"Price: $675.00 Serial #: 634310 Product Status: Out of Stock Serial Number 634610 dates this York Trumpet to 1963. This model was the last version of a venerable line of rose brass belled "Custom" models beginning with the '40's Custom Model', '50's Super Custom' and ending with the '60's Custom Superba'. It has a huge .472" extra large bore that produces a Big warm and slightly dark tone. This is a trumpet in great condition...straight with no dents, dings nor evidence of past repairs. The original lacquer has been removed and the horn was then satin finished. These York's were built like battleships! They slot remarkable well, possess excellent intonation and have lightning fast short throw valves. There are two or three tiny dings. The bell engraving remains sharp. The valves have great compression and look near new. This trumpet has a huge sound and great slotting. Great looking one of a kind trumpet with the satin finish! Original case is in very good condition.

Looks like the first two digits are the year, making yours a 1965 product.
