Arrow Re: instrument insurance

Greetings!

Hopefully this post will prove informative!

I wanted to also provide Anderson Insurance Services as another insurance alternative.

The rates are competitive (.525 per $100) and the program works well for freelance musicians (no association membership required.)

I work for this agency but actually work mainly with harpists! However our musical instrument department is well versed and very knowlegable when it comes to musicians and musical instruments since Peter Anderson, owner, has a background in music as well as others in the office (me too!)

I think this goes a long way with other musicians since we aren't just "trained" for musical instrument insurance...we actually understand and know!

Anyway, I don't want to make this too long! Thought it might be helpful for others out there to know there is another source for musical instrument insurance. We not only have products for Freelance Musicians, there are products for Jazz Musicians, Orchestras and Symphonies and more!

The policy provides worldwide coverage and is written on a very broad policy form, providing coverage for what musicians are looking for (not just what a home policy will cover! i.e., fire, lightning, wind, etc.!)

On that note, you may be interested in reviewing our Homeowners versus Musical Instrument Policy information on our site. There are MAJOR gaps in coverage on your homeowner's policy, which is why it's very important to cover your instrument on a policy designed specifically for it!

Please feel free to take a look at the site for more information and an online application!

Thanks so much for your time!
