Hey, if you ask questions, you need to be able to accept the answers.
If the arrival of the trumpets was perceived to be "late", the presentation was not "professional" enough. Maybe they need to not casually sneak into position, but obviously MARCH into place. Take the criticism as a challenge. Work out a believable solution. Playing and Presentation needs to be ON PURPOSE. Make it fun, but serious.
Should never happen again!
