On normal rotary trumpets I put bearing oil on the end of the rotor under the cap and pull the slide to create a vacuum to draw the oil in and then put the rotor oil in through the slides starting with the key half depressed.
I am getting oil into the second valve on the oiccolo through the first valve slide.
