I have a King Silvertone trumpet form 1938. It is fine playing condition, but cosmetically could use some work. Yes, it is a smaller bore than modern trumpets, but I find it also to be a great church horn. It projects well with a narrow focus that will not spread and overpower a chorus. Really interesting.
