Zoiks I really meant well by this post..I am sorry I posted it under the wrong forum:(.
Manny is by far my favorite orchestral musician and I find myself always striving to play with the finesse, sound and expertise that he does. I really miss seeing his posts...I have had vids of him on my computer desktop for years now. One of these days I will meet him and perhaps God willing take a lesson, then perhaps find a local microbrewery with REAL ale, good food, and pick his brain and hear plenty of stories. Any of you other cats ever take lessons from a Vacchiano student? The stories abound and amaze...in college I was lucky enough to takel lessons from Al Ligotti and those are perhaps some of the most treasured memories I have!!! Oops...maybe I should have did this in another forum! |
