Ransalear are pretty interesting trumpets. They were a collaboration in the 80's between Mr. Ransalear and Warburton. Some of the trumpets were put together by Lawler.

The fixed bell horns are very different in design. There is no brace between the bell and the valve casing and no brace up front....so the bell is actually fused directly to the valve section. This gives the feeling that the trumpet is very narrow.....some guys like that.

This project was originally set up as a modular trumpet and the fixed bell options came later as they figured out which combination of bells and leadpipes were most popular.

Make sure you get a trial period as all the horns play differently based on the bell/leadpipe selection. Great quality horns.....just make sure it is the right combo for you.
