I played a friend's a couple of years ago - it was a gunmetal finish. I know he had bought it for looks - he buys everything he owns for looks - but it was a decent player. It was 1000 times better than the black LA Sax horn he'd been playing before that(anything would be!), but not as good as my Yamaha - a little hard to center.
