Re: VINTAGE HORN EYE CANDY

Raw, naked babes in the snow!

I recently had my two cornets restored. One is a 1928 Buescher model 255 in Bb/A that belonged to my granddad. It had a broken leadpipe that my granddad had soldered back together and looked horrible. Now I can't believe it is the same horn. A small silvery blemish is all that remains after the restoration work.

The other is a 1947 Conn 12A that I found in an antique shop just before Christmas. It was all bent up and the laquer was a wreck. It also looks like a completely different horn after restoration.
