There are all sorts of headphones and the best depends on your ears and situation.
I am in a place with lots of noise and found phones that block the noise to be very helpful.
I use these; Noise Cancelling Headphones, Noise Reduction Headphones, Extreme Isolation Headphones - Quiet Headphones
