| Re: My Wedge Mouthpiece experience Trent,
It's great to read about your experiences on here. I too have switched to the Wedge, at least for my lead work. I am thinking of hopefully getting a 3C soon, but anyway. I'll chime in and agree with everything he said. This was mainly me on lead pieces...I couldn't find that 'perfect' fit...I'd try one for a while and it would work, then I'd switch to another. I have been through Bach, GR, Monette, etc. Anyway, I stumbled across the Wedge at the TMEA convention, and talked to Dave. He is an amazing guy and will help you however he can. I played on a few cups, a 1.5 C-F, 3D, 3E, etc..and decided the 3E was my good setup. I am finally hitting the notes I know I can. It's not a 'magic' piece..it's just science, I suppose. A more effiecient setup, with a better feel, produced, at least for me, a better tone, better range, and better solidity with notes I KNEW I owned, and just couldn't seem to own anymore. Rowuk is right.
