I actually had the pleasure to go to the workshop in Holland a few months ago with a few friends. It was a real first class experience. They treated us incredibly well, brought us coffee and biscuits, showed us around the workshop itself. We played nearly every instrument he had available. None of them are finished when you try them there. You choose the model you're interested in, then he makes three or four with different finishes so that you can choose the one you like the most. It's really a pampered way to go about buying a trumpet. I didn't buy anything sadly, but did I ever feel well taken care of.
