I have a question for you. How do you know it's the wrong embouchure? I have had many students who have been very succesful who didn't have the perfect embouchure. I say that because I think sometimes it's easy wo get to caught up in how it looks. Anyway, just a thought.
As far as practicing goes I would absolutley continue to practice all aspects of trumpet playing. Even if your embouchure changes the work will pay off in the long run.
