If this is your first excerpt book, I would highly recommend Philip Norris' Top 50 Orchestral Audition Excerpts for Trumpet. It features almost all of the most commonly requested excerpts, as well as written summaries and instrument suggestions for each excerpt. If you decide to take orchestral auditions, you'll want to start looking at entire parts, but to start out this is a perfect book. I could find a link to buy it online, but it's published by Crown Music Press.
